It’s important to keep on top of your financial data, especially if you’re likely to undergo an audit or independent examination.

Although independent examinations are usually aimed at charities, businesses can also benefit from the process. Having an external team check over your inner structure can provide the peace of mind you need to know you’re running things correctly.

So how do we conduct it? We’ll review your financial records, company statements, and supporting documentation to ensure they’re accurate. We’ll also review your internal controls – policies and procedures for recording transactions – to make sure they’re running at the right speed. And we’ll run a thorough compliance check to compare your business against the appropriate laws and regulations.

Once that’s been done, we’ll generate a report that lets you know whether you’re on the right track, or if there are things you need to change.
